A Novel Dual Guided Photonic Crystal Fiber For Oam Mode Transmission

摘要
We propose a novel dual-guided photonic crystal fiber(DPCF), which can support orbital angular momentum (OAM) mode as many as 68 in communication bands. The design of DPCF with special structure is used to transmit different OAM modes simultaneously. The numerical analysis shows that effective index differences are larger than 10(-4), which is helpful to reduce modes crosstalk and ensure stable OAM modes transmission. This DPCF would have potential application in high capacity OAM mode division multiplexing transmission systems.
