Research on Sea Surface Target Tracking of Networked Forward Scatter Radar

Networked FSR (Forward Scatter Radar) can be used to expand the coverage as the narrow coverage of FSR. In this paper, the Doppler information provided by two-node FSR receiver is used, rather than the angle information, to achieve the tracking of sea surface moving targets. Six configurations of two-node receiver design are compared through the moving target tracking performance on the sea surface. The performance of different configurations is analyzed to obtain the optimal configurations of the networked FSR.
