摘要
Objective: To explore the feasibility of implementing transitional care for patients with malignant lymphoma after chemotherapy, and to explore the impact of transitional care on their quality of life and self-management efficacy. Methods: 139 patients with malignant lymphoma undergoing chemotherapy in our hospital were recruited for this study and were randomly divided into a study group (69 cases) and a control group (70 cases). Transitional care was implemented for the patients in the study group, and routine care was given to the patients in the control group. After 6 mouths' follow-up care and observation, the EORTC QLQ-C30 (European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer quality of life questionnaire, C30) (the Chinese version) and the SUPPH (Strategies Used by People to Promote Health) (the Chinese version) scores were compared between two groups during the first, third, and sixth courses of chemotherapy. The unhealthy emotion scores before and after the intervention were compared between the two groups. Results: During the third course of chemotherapy, the emotional functioning and global health status scores from the EORTC QLQ-C30 in the study group were higher than the corresponding scores in the control group (P<0.05), and the dimensionalities and total scores in the SUPPH scale were higher than they were in the control group (P<0.05). During the sixth course of chemotherapy, the functional scale, symptom scale, and single item scores in the EORTC QLQ-C30 in the study group were higher than they were in the control group, and the dimensionalities and total scores in the SUPPH scale were also higher than they were in the control group (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in the self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale (SDS) scores between the two groups before the intervention, and the SAS and SDS scores in the study group were lower than they were in the control group after the intervention (P<0.05). Conclusion: Transitional care can help enhance the self-efficacy and self-management abilities of patients with malignant lymphoma undergoing chemotherapy and can also greatly improve patients' quality of life, especially their social functioning.
