Context-Aware Visual Abstraction of Crowded Parallel Coordinates

•Doc2Vec is applied to project data items into a vectorized space to represent contextual structures across parallel coordinates.•Blue noise sampling model is designed to select data items in the vectorized space, aiming to retain contextual structures as far as possible.•A context-aware visual sampling framework is implemented, enabling users to evaluate and explore the simplified parallel coordinates.
