摘要

•The adhesive composites insulating coating can improve the mechanical properties of Fe-Si-Al soft magnetic composites.•100 nm sized MgO particles enable both good magnetic and mechanical properties.•Effective permeability maintains well in the frequency range of 1–1000 kHz.
