New generating functions of I -function satisfying Truesdell’s F_q -equation

In this paper we first obtain various new forms of the q -analogue of the I -function satisfying Truesdell’s ascending and descending F_q -equation. Then we use these forms to obtain new generating functions for the q -analogue of the I -function. Some particular cases of these results in terms of the q -analogue of the I -function, H -function and G -function have also been obtained.
