Chemistry teaching it is reason concern for educators, because in many cases it is transmitted for respective mode, it is decorated by the students and having no relation with everyday This work suggests a methodology for the teaching of chemistry in the first year of high school. It aims to combine theory with practice, through a visit to the salon, where it will facilitate learning, is related to the daily lives of students, with the purpose of reducing learning difficulties. An alternative to changing this reality is to opt for contextualization of teaching from use of the student's daily life as generating theme of learning, which will make teaching an efficient experience in the construction of knowledge that meets the needs of the student as a citizen. This study sets in a pedagogical proposal to the reasoned chemistry teaching in the reality of students, from the use of labels and leaflets of cosmetic products contained in the salon, as forms of recognition elements and chemical formulas and suggests an interdisciplinary approach between chemistry and the daily lives of students.
