Proteomic analysis of platelet-rich and platelet-poor plasma

•600 proteins were detected in blood plasma formulations in two experiments.•Plasma formulations had more than 50% overlap in identified proteins.•Protein pathway analysis identified more than 100 canonical pathways.•The major pathways and regulatory molecules were linked to inflammation.
