Experimental study on dynamic characteristics of low temperature oxidation for Bohai offshore light oil under reservoir conditions

•LTO was divided into three oxidation stages for Bohai light oil.•Pathways and mechanisms of LTO of offshore light oil were systematically studied.•Pressure, temperature and reactant concentration were important factors for LTO of light oil.•Bohai reservoir has a stronger capacity of oxygen consumption compared with other light oil reservoirs.•Oxygen consume rate for dynamic oxidation experiment was almost 330 times as many as static oxidation experiment.
