Accurate Harmonic Distortion Estimation in CMOS Circuits Using a Cross-Product G(m)-Stage Modeling

摘要
This work presents a fast and flexible harmonic distortion estimation approach, applicable to linear CMOS circuits. It offers improved accuracy by using a Gm-stage model that includes the dependence of a stage's output current on cross-products of its input and output voltages. The application of the approach is demonstrated in a realistic circuit, and the accuracy of the obtained results is verified by comparison with Cadence (R) Spectre (R) simulation.
