Modelling for a pulverised coal combustion complex control system

The estimation of pulverized coal combustion quality has an important influence on the boiler proper work. Considering combustion aerodynamics, efficiency of heat transfer, flame stability as well as NOx and CO generation, several research have shown, that low emission burners have the most important influence on combustion dynamics formation. The aim of research includes low emission burners identification for boiler work optimization, considering several innovative technologies for process quality verification. The important part of these works stands identification of the burners respecting results of tests with combustion stand in Institute of Energetics in Warsaw. Paper presents identification results for three types of low emission burners with a proposal of control system for a single burner regarding technology and normative boundaries.
