Power Resource Allocation Algorithm Based on Model of Supply and Demand in Wireless Network Virtualization

Wireless network virtualization enables physical resource abstraction and sharing. In order to solve the problem that power resource cannot be dynamically shared in traditional wireless networks, this paper designs a power resource allocation algorithm based on model of supply and demand in wireless network virtualization, called PRAA. Firstly, we define the power resource allocation problem as a multi-optimization objective problem. Secondly, we use the model of supply and demand to decompose the multi-optimization objective problem into two single-optimization objective problems. The two single-optimization objective problems are transformed into two convex optimization problems and can be solved by the existing convex optimization techniques. Then we design a price update function to calculate the optimal price of unit power and the optimal power allocated to the mobile user equipment. Finally, the validity of PARR is verified by simulation experiments.
