Pyrite textures and compositions in Jiangshan gold deposit, Bengbu Uplift, southeastern North China Craton: Implications for ore genesis

The Jiangshan gold deposit is newly discovered gold deposit, and it is the largest in the Bengbu Uplift, with reserves of about 20 t. So its genesis haven’t been well investigated. Pyrite is the main gold-associated mineral in the Jiangshan gold deposit. The pyrite trace element reveal that Py4 has the highest gold content. Based on the texture of Py4, the Py4 formation related to tectonic event. And the tectonic event may be the most important factor in the mineralization of fracture-disseminated type gold deposit.
