Hemiarthroplasty compared with internal fixation for treatment of nondisplaced femoral neck fractures in elderly patients: a retrospective study.

•The current study demonstrated that bipolar hemiarthroplasty is an alternative choice for elderly patients of nondisplaced FNFs.•Bipolar hemiarthroplasty has less surgical complications and less reoperations in the treatment of nondisplaced FNFs.•Internal fixation with cannulated screws has shorter surgical time and less intraoperative blood loss in the treatment of nondisplaced FNFs.
