摘要
•Controlled polymerization at the surface of activated cellulose nanocrystals.•High coverages are obtained : 40 up to 80 % in weight percentage of relative to CNCs.•Cellulose nanocrystals dispersion inversely related to the grafted polymer amount.•Improvement of the interface between polymerized CNCs and poly(lactic acid) (PLA) matrix.
