Training Research Data Management - A Train-The-Trainer Programme For Competence Transfer

In the coming years research data management will require a large number of qualified staff to perform tasks in institutes, research projects and within the future national research data infrastructure. In terms of the lack of education and training paths to acquire the corresponding skills a shortage of skilled workers appears virtually unavoidable. A train-the-trainer programme was successfully developed as part of the FDMentor project to quickly and comprehensively qualify researchers and infrastructure personnel for knowledge transfer.
