FeNi alloys encapsulated in N-doped CNTs-tangled porous carbon fibers as highly efficient and durable bifunctional oxygen electrocatalyst for rechargeable zinc-air battery

•FeNi alloys decorated N-doped CNTs-grafted porous carbon fibers (FeNi/N-CPCF) are proposed.•The FeNi/N-CPCF exhibits excellent electrocatalytic activities and stabilities for both ORR and OER.•The FeNi/N-CPCF-based Zn-air battery shows high efficiency and a long cycle life.
