Characterization of Radiated Susceptibility Directivity for Microstrip and Coplanar Lines

摘要
In this paper the susceptibility of fixed length transmission lines in radiated EM field with respect to different orientation of EM field vectors was investigated using the FEM modelling techniques. The measurement setup using the GTEM cell Frankonia GTEM-1000 was calibrated and the measurement results of the line prototypes were acquired using the substitution method in 80 - 3000MHz frequency range. It was shown that over the 80% of the investigated frequency range the deviation between modelled and approximated measured transmission line output power level was lower than 3dB.
