摘要

•Hierarchical starfish-like Cu2−xSe of nanosheets is used for Mg batteries.•The cathode delivers a high capacity of 210 mAh g−1 at 100 mA g−1.•A superior long-term cycleability over 300 cycles is obtained.•The thin nanosheets enhance solid-state Mg2+ diffusion kinetics.
