Youla Parameterized Adaptive Noise Attenuation In Ducts

A Youla parameterized adaptive control approach is introduced to attenuate external narrowband noise dominated by low frequencies in ducts. A set of stabilizing controllers using the Youla parameterization is first constructed. Then, the Youla parameter is turned online by an adaptive regulation approach to achieve noise cancellation. The performance of the adaptive approach is illustrated through experimental results.
