Influence Of Milling Time On The Synthesis, Microstructure And Mechanical Properties Of Lead-Free K0.5bi0.5tio3 Ceramics

The potassium-bismuth titanate K0.5Bi0.5TiO3 ceramics were obtained by conventional sintering method. The results of Raman investigations are silimar to the spectra originated from the the K0.5Bi0.5TiO3 ceramics. The microstructure studies were carried out using scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results showed that the milling time affects the microstructure of the obtained materials. As the milling time increased, it was observed that the microstructure was more homogenized. The ultrasonic measurments were carried out for the obtained ceramic materials, which allowed to determine Young's, Kirchoff modulus and Poisson's ratio. The conclusions regarding the milling time can be the starting point for targeted technology.
