摘要
•Two stages of Early-Middle Paleozoic magmatism are identified within the Ereendavaa terrane, Northeast Mongolia.•The 461–455 Ma Tsarig volcanic rocks formed in a continental arc setting as a result of northwestward subduction of the Paleo-Asian Ocean lithosphere.•The ~418 Ma Chandmana bimodal suite formed in a post-collisional extensional environment, probably related to the break-off of the Paleo-Asian Ocean slab.
