We experimentally demonstrate a 28-Gb/s/lambda TDM-PON based on bandwidth-limited NRZ modulation. By using narrow-filter-compensation and enhanced FEC with an optimal overhead, -26.5 dBm receiver sensitivity of is achieved in the C-band after 20-km downstream transmission.
