•Silicate melt metasomatism and recent fluid metasomatism were revealed by Li isotope systematics.•Silicate melts from dehydrated slab and subduction-related fluids are inferred as metasomatic melts and fluids.•Lithium isotope systematics are sensitive to cryptic metasomatism.
