摘要

•The coupled advanced Fenton and electrolysis was proposed for leachate treatment.•The COD removal followed apparent pseudo-second order kinetic model.•Humic substances in the leachate were significantly degraded after the treatment.•Over 70% of COD removal was achieved under optimal conditions.
