摘要
This paper proposes complementary mode switching to increase efficiency of Time Modulated Arrays. The complementary mode is defined in the paper and the corresponding radiation pattern is studied. It is shown that the radiation pattern of sidebands is not changed, while power level in the fundamental harmonic has 16.6 dB enhancement for a 20 element linear array, which is highly desired for wireless communication.
