Co-Simulation Using Adams And Simulink For Adaptive Vibration Isolation System With Piezoelectric Stack Actuator

Co-simulation for adaptive vibration isolation system with the piezoelectric stack actuator is done by employing ADAMS and SIMULINK. The structure and properties of the piezoelectric stack actuator is analyzed, and the actuator is simplified to the stiffness-damping model to obtain the mechanical equation. Then the virtual prototype of the piezoelectric stack actuator is established in ADAMS, meanwhile, the output variables and input variables of the prototype is determined. After these steps is finished, the co-simulation module is imported into SIMULINK, then the controller based on FXLMS is created, and the driving force is generated by the controller to suppress the vibration. The simulation results prove that the co-simulation using the FXLMS algorithm with the prototype has the ability of vibration suppression, and the prototype is helpful to optimize the structure of vibration isolation, it makes the design more convenient, and increases the design of system structure reliability.
