240 Gb/s mode and wavelength division multiplexed data transmission in Si photonics

摘要
A 3-mode multiplexing and de-multiplexing silicon photonic circuit is shown to support 240 Gb/s data (3 modes × 2 wavelengths × 40 Gb/s). The key drivers for optimizing the photonic circuit performance are discussed.
