Interactive Personalized eBooks for Education.

In the past years, more and more research is carried out in order to incorporate new technologies to modern educational systems. This process does not only provide new means as alternatives to older ones (like printed books) but also fundamentally changes the educational process. Perhaps the biggest advantage new technologies have to offer is the ability to provide a personalized learning experience to each student according to their demands and abilities. In this paper we describe a new design that makes use of the latest eBook standard's (ePub3) features, in order to create a personalized system for learning.
