摘要

•This is the first nationwide, population-based study of the incidence of HACEK bacteraemia.•Haemophilus was the bacterial genus most frequently identified.•There was a marked increasing incidence of HACEK bacteraemia with increasing patient age.•Differences in patient age and sex distribution were seen among the different HACEK genera.•There was a high level of identification due to the use of MALDI-TOF MS.
