Automated toxicity test model based on a bio-inspired technique and AdaBoost classifier.

•A fully automated method was proposed to test the toxicity using microscope images of treated zebrafish embryos.•The proposed model consists of data preprocessing, feature extraction, feature selection, and classification phases.•Modified version of the GWO algorithm was proposed for feature selection.•The proposed algorithm obtained promising results reached to 99.47%.
