Multi-view face recognition from single RGBD models of the faces.

•This paper presents a novel hierarchical approach for multi-view facial recognition.•It also proposes a weighted voting scheme to improve face recognition by combining face images from different viewpoints.•Additionally, a new dataset of RGBD face images for the evaluation of multi-view face recognition is introduced.•Finally, the paper includes an extensive evaluation and analysis of several mechanisms to perform data clustering and classification for the purpose of facial recognition.
