摘要
The rise of Web of Things (WoT) has created new challenges for processing distributed data, such as the large volume, heterogeneity and autonomy of data producers. Therefore, efficient mechanisms for publishing and discovering data producers on the WoT become necessary. One possible solution to help such tasks is to provide a catalog with data producers' metadata. That catalog must be flexible, to deal with heterogeneity, and scalable, to deal with massive volume of data producers and consumers. In order to handle those requirements, different NoSQL solutions have been adopted. However, there is still no consensus about the most suitable solution for cataloguing data producers in the context of the WoT. In this work, different NoSQL databases are evaluated and some guidance to help the identification of the most efficient catalog solution for a given workload is also provided.
