Paper No S8.1: Color Volume‐Based Wide Color Gamut Mapping for Rec. 2020 Contents in Digital Television

In this article, we propose a wide color gamut mapping system for Rec. 2020 contents in digital television, based on the color volume information of the mastering display. By this methodology, the original color graded in the mastering display could be faithfully reproduced in the customer's display preserving director's intention.
