This article summarizes a master's work in Computer Science, evaluating the effectiveness of mixed mode with the use of educational social network on engagement in learning music. The research is experimental and almost happened to graduating students of a Degree in Music. Data collection was triangularizada with observation and questionnaire online application and semistructured interviews. The results point to student engagement evidence, and consequently improving the quality of education, from the discussion of factors that positively or negatively impact the engagement of students in the light of Activity Theory.
