摘要
HL7 (Health Level 7) is a standard for exchanging medical and health care data among different medical information systems. The IEEE 11073 is a standard that deals with the communication between computers and the medical devices at the POC (point of care) such as bedside. This standard is intended to interoperate with HL7. This standard, however, does not deal with general sensors. As is expected the types of sensors become diverse and they are expected to be used various places including u-healthcare, u-city, etc. IEEE 1451 is a family of standards that deal with all the aspects of transducers including sensors and actuators, with various wired or wireless sensor networks. In this paper, we consider the possibility of interoperability among the IEEE 1451, IEEE 11073, and HL7. After we propose a format of messages in HL7 to include the IEEE 1451 TEDS, we present some preliminary results that show the possibility of interoperability among the three standards. (4 pages)
