Height function based Volume of Fluid code for simulations of multiphase magnetic fluids

•Height function was implemented into a Volume of Fluid code for magnetic fluids.•Tests on static elongated ellipses verify second order accuracy in curvature.•Droplet tests show increased accuracy for height function normals in VOF advection.•Magnetic fluid droplet tests performed on elongated droplets in a uniform field and agree with theory.•Pilot study code test on chemotherapeutic drug targeting in a model vein flow.
