Reliable control of uncertain delayed discrete-time systems with SQC

The reliable control design problem for uncertain discrete-time systems with control delay and possible actuator failures in the input channels is discussed. A sum quadratic constraint (SQC) performance is proposed, which is a generalization of the H∞ control problem and the passivity control problem of discrete-time systems. Based on Lyapunov quadratic stability criteria and linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach, a sufficient condition is established to guarantee that the closed-loop system with the possible actuator failures satisfy the SQC performance. A provided example shows the applicability of our approach.
