Approaches to the assessment of graduate attributes in Higher Education

This paper presents a typology of assessment approaches based on an analysis of the types of assessment strategy. This typology is considered in relation to the barriers to integration identified in the literature on generic attributes. In doing so the paper identifies the potential for different assessment approaches to overcome the key barriers to assessment of generic attributes.
