The solubilities of poorly soluble electrolytes in complex solutions

A general method for the calculation of the solubilities of some poorly soluble electrolytes in complex solutions is introduced in this paper. The solubility curves of copper hydroxide (Cu(OH)2), copper oxide (CuO), malachite (Cu2(OH)2CO3) and chessylite (Cu3(OH)2(CO3)2) have been calculated. The solubilities of these compounds in ammonia water at different pH values and total concentration of ammonia were given.
