摘要
The wireless and portable nature of modern devices and the hardware technology available to adversaries make these devices vulnerable and their communications susceptible to jamming and interference. This work verifies and extends the knowledge and re-evaluates techniques that have already been suggested for anti-jamming and interference mitigation (AJIM), attempting to place them under a common intelligent and transparent framework. The AJIM framework is driven by and evolves in response to the network environment and the jammer's profile by adapting and invoking the hosted techniques. We implemented and evaluated those techniques on a testbed composed of real radios and in a variety of scenarios, so that we can characterize performance with respect to various network environments and jamming characteristics. We build the AJIM framework using the AJIM techniques' potential in accordance to our study. We extend the AJIM framework so that: a) it evolves using the collected knowledge and b) it is integrated transparently with the network protocol stack so that we switch between anti-jamming and normal communication mode without having to restart the network protocol stack.
