Experimental Research on the Low Speed Performance of the Direct Driving NC-Rotating Table

The direct driving rotating table is the very important structural part of high speed NC machining center.It's low speed performance is the one of the most important characteristics affecting whole machine.So research on the low speed qualities of rotating table becomes very important.Here the measurement method and principle using ML10 dual-frequency laser interferometer is discussed.Based on it the experiment research has be carried out within ±20°clockwise or counterclockwise for the direct driving rotating table employing large-torque motor FANUC aiF8/3000 system.Based on the experimental results the kinematics performance and non-linear influence have been discussed.
