Proceedings of the Workshop on Multi-device App Middleware

Applications running on a wide range of devices and platforms are increasingly common. The technologies behind that range from implementing separate versions of the application for different platforms to the use of common middleware. But applications already move beyond running single application instances on different devices. Some applications run on one device and are controlled on another. The most common example of this are currently TV sets that are controlled via remote control applications on smartphones. But other applications that make use of features of multiple devices are forthcoming, using the TV for elements that benefit from high resolution, tablets for ease of data entry and phones for payment and identification.
