Undergraduate Capstone open-source projects
WCCCE '12: Proceedings of the Seventeenth Western Canadian Conference on Computing Education(2012)
摘要
Undergraduate CS programs strive to prepare their students for the environment of professional software development but we are often unsuccessful. The lack of this expertise in our graduates frustrates both academics and industry[1]. While many programs that teach both the theory of a discipline and its practical skills use an apprenticeship model, software engineering doesn't typically follow this approach. This panel presents UCOSP, an apprentice approach to teaching software engineering, from the perspectives of a student, an instructor, a project mentor, and an administrator.
