个人简介
After completion of my Master, I was working at East Japan Railway Company as a civil engineer. I was fortunate to be involved in (and to manage a part of) the redevelopment of stations, such as Shinjyuku, Ikebukuro and Naoetsu. Some of the station infrastructure (including the new #0 platform of Shinjyuku) has my name in its records because I was the designer for it.
I started my PhD in 2002 at Centre for Transport Studies, UCL and continued my PhD research while I started working as a Research Assistant in 2004. As a Research Assistant, I was engaged in various pedestrian-related projects, including Designing Platform Humps for London Underground and Investigation into Train Dwell Time for Thameslink.
