Research interests The goal of user-centered design is the development of useful and usable products. User involvement is an essential principle of user-centered design: direct contacts with real users and other stakeholders are needed to understand users, their needs and requirements and evaluating design solutions. The focus of my research is on early user involvement: benefits and challenges, identifying users, cost-efficient field studies for gathering hidden user needs and values, analyzing user needs and values, transforming them into user requirements.
