Marek Paściak received the M.S. degree in computational physics from the AGH University of Science and Technology, Kraków, Poland, in 2004, and the Ph.D. degree in physics from the Institute of Low Temperatures and Structural Research, Polish Academy of Sciences, Wroclaw, Poland, in 2009.
From 2005 to 2008, he was with International Max Planck Research School, Dresden, Germany. From 2009 to 2012, he had a postdoctoral position at the Research School of Chemistry, The Australian National University, Canberra, working on modeling of disorder in ferroelectric materials. From 2012, he continues this research with the Institute of Physics, The Czech Academy of Sciences, Prague, Czech Republic, broadening the scope toward dynamical aspects of local structure in dielectrics.
