Our lab studies the human brain. We are interested in brain physiology, the link between psychiatric symptoms and brain activity, and most generally in all the activity patterns generated by the brain. Much of our work concerns women's health, focusing on the link between sex hormones and brain activity over menstrual cycles, fertility treatments, and pregnancy. Some of our work is general, concerning commonalities across all adults.
We enroll people with and without psychiatric histories. Some specific populations being recruited are women having menstrual cycles, women undergoing fertility treatments, and women who are intending pregnancy or who are pregnant. We also study men, and women who are not in the categories above, so long as you are over 18 years old.
