Honglin HU was born in Jan. 1975 at Anqing, Anhui province. He got his bachelor’s degree from PLA Electronic Engineering Institute (EEI) in 1996. Then, from 1996 to 1998, he worked in a base of PLA. He received his master’s degree in 2001 also from EEI, and then got his PhD from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2004. From 2004 to 2006 he was a postdoc in Siemens AG communications in Munich, Germany. Then, he works in SIMIT as an associated professor and a tutor for master students, and as a full professor since Jan. 2009. He is the head of the 1st R&D department of Shanghai Research Center for Wireless Communications (WiCO) since Jun. 2007. He is the vice chair of IEEE Shanghai Section, and a member of general committee of national 863 key project “Dynamic resource sharing wireless communication systems”. He was sponsored by the Shanghai Rising-Star and Magnolia talent projects. He has co-edited 5 books in English and Chinese, and co-authored over 20 SCI papers in international journals such as IEEE. Moreover, he is an AE or in the EB of 5 international journals and highly involved in the international research activities on mobile communications.
